The concept of such an organisation originated during a visit of representatives of saw servicing companies to an overseas factory. As these companies (both small and large) were widely spread throughout the United Kingdom they represented a fair cross-section of our trade.
The primary objects, as summarised from the Rules of the Association, came to fruition at a group meeting on 20th June 1990.
The object is a non-profit trading association to bring together "Saw Doctors" and "Tool Cutter Grinders" for the purpose of exchanging ideas and resolving problems related to saw maintenance, to achieve the highest quality standards and professional service to the industry. |
